Evie is a 24year old show jumper and invisible illness ambassador based in Nottinghamshire. Growing up around horses and living in and out of hospital shaped a unique lifestyle where one thing became clear, life was meant for living and horses became the reason to keep going. She began visiting primary schools in 2012 to raise awareness for invisible illnesses as part of her own community project to improve the quality of life of young children in the UK living with chronic illnesses, by breaking stereotypes and removing the stigma through educating young children.
On social media, Evie shares the slightly chaotic mix of balancing her health and horses, learning to juggle being tube fed and competing internationally, Evie has a deep understanding of clear story telling and marketing to help raise awareness and create positive change both on social media and in person, working with various UK charities, community support groups and sporting bodies, she is excited to bring this skillset and blend her love for equestrian sport with media to her placement with The Jockey Club and place on this years racing media academy.
